The Brief

Black Wolf a was briefed to handle all communication for UFC Champion, Dalcha Lungiambula, a UFC Champion. The key objective was to position brand Dalcha, as an international MMA star with the pulling power to attract sponsorship, co-patron fights and influencer status.


As a child of Africa, Dalcha is a poster child of what’s possible if you work hard, believe in yourself and reach for stars. Dalcha’s brand is closely linked to the Marvel character Wakanda Warrior – Black Panther.

The Challenge

To appeal to his loyal fan base in Africa as well as attract new followers in the untapped market in Russia and grow his reach across platforms.

Each fight is given a unique look to fit the context of its environment. For the Russian fight Dalcha was given a Black Panther in Russia look which linked in to his brand and helped elevate his profile to stand out in this highly competitive space, together with a powerful campaign.

Part of Dalcha’s campaign was to drive the ‘Africa Rise’ narrative across the globe. From the USA, Africa to Russia. Dalcha brought the heat to Russia and inspired fighters across the continent to follow their dreams.
